Easy via the A2 motorway
Kusternighof is located in Augsdorf, above the southern shore of Wörthersee near Velden. Whichever direction you come from, head for the motorway exit Velden-West. Free parking is available right at the house.
From Salzburg & Germany
- A10 Tauern motorway to Villach
- Continue on the A2 towards Klagenfurt
- Exit Velden-West
- Follow the signs to Maria Wörth / Schiefling
- After approx. 2 km turn left towards the southern shore
- At the Selpritsch roundabout take the 1st exit – after approx. 2.4 km you reach Kusternighof
From Vienna & Eastern Europe
- A2 motorway towards Villach
- Exit Velden-West
- Follow the signs to Maria Wörth / Schiefling
- Turn left towards the southern shore
- Via Selpritsch to Augsdorf and Kusternighof
From Italy & Southern Europe
- Via Tarvisio into Austria
- A2 towards Klagenfurt
- Exit Velden-West
- Follow the signs to Maria Wörth / Augsdorf – a few minutes later you are there
By plane
Klagenfurt Airport
The nearest airport is Klagenfurt (KLU). From there it takes about 30 minutes to reach Kusternighof by rental car or taxi. Car rental companies are located right at the airport.
By train
Velden station
Velden am Wörthersee has its own railway station on the Villach – Klagenfurt line. From the station it is only a few minutes by taxi to Kusternighof. We are happy to help you plan your journey.
