Our holiday apartments have been thoughtfully redesigned with your comfort in mind. They either have an adjacant patio or a balcony with a great view of the northern shore of Wörthersee. Some of our apartments have showers for the disabled.
The kitchen area is well-equipped, giving our guests the opportunity to prepare their own meals: oven, fridge, microwave (some apartments), blender, etc. all necessary utensils.
All our apartments have satellite TV. Our guests have free accsess to wireless internet via PC, tablet or smart phone. Wireless internet is available in the main building and in some areas outside the house. In addition to the holiday apartments, it is possible to book a double room with an en-suite bathroom. From the balcony you have a great view of the northern shore of Wörthersee. Free satellite TV and wireless internet are included. The double room can be booked with or without breakfast. As always, the guests of the double room are entitled to the same anemities as the lodgers of the apartments.
We are happy to provide baby beds, high chairs or any other children’s equipment for families with toddlers.
Our “Zwitschhütte” (cabana) can be used at any time. It’s the perfect place for barbecue kings or queens to prepare some delicious dishes for their families and spend a pleasant evening together.

If you want to bring along your bicycles or e-bikes, you can leave them in a fully enclosed and lockable shed. We also have a charging station for your e-bikes. Table tennis and badminton equipment is available. Runners and Nordic walkers will appreciate our stunning countryside and beautiful forests, which are only a stone’s throw away from our home!
Kärnten with its breathtaking and diverse scenery also attracts great numbers of motor cyclists and Harley Davidson fans. Take a ride on our beautiful, scenic roads (which are well marked) and take in the wonders of nature! With the “Kärnten Card“ (discount card) you enjoy it even more!
We at Kusternighof have always given a warm welcome to our pet loving guests! If you are a pet owner, you can bring him / her, too. We will charge a small additional fee, and we would kindly ask you to inform us about your pet in advance (when booking your holiday). Of course, you can take your fuzzy friends to our private beach, too.
Meet the pets of Kusternighof! We have really cute cats you and your kids can pet. Our pony Bixy is too old to ride on but she loves being pampered by our little guests. Our domestic pigs make our little farm complete.
Your host family will be more than happy to help you plan your holiday and leisure activities. We will gladly help you if you need advice and make sure you have a relaxing holiday. You will be pleased to find out how many great opportunities our holiday destination has to offer. Our guests get the Velden Basic Card for free. With this card you are entitled to numerous discounts. With the Kärnten Card issued by the Velden Tourist Office you have free access to or get a discount on some of Kärnten’s major attractions.
